as I was saying

So I know I mentioned my unhealthy obsession with children's consignment sales. Apparently as a result of my inability to pass up a good deal, I found THREE more totes of clothes I was storing to put into the upcoming Fall/Winter sale. I've been hanging clothes, pinning them to those hangers, and typing in descriptions for three days and I'm only about half through. Thus far, I've got over 100 items. Originally, I wasn't going to donate any items that I didn't sell, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea that I wouldn't have to store away three-ish totes again. So while I hope I'll sell tons, I'm also content that regardless, it isn't my problem anymore.

Yesterday, I took Lucy in for her one-year well visit. She looks so huge to me! She weighs 23lbs. 9oz. and is 29 3/4" long! That makes her in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th for height. If that girl outgrows me by the age of 12, I might cry. I'm just kidding! I love that she's tall and I hope that she'll enjoy it. I had a roommate in college that was 6' tall and she didn't like it so much. Well, I better get back to tagging. My house looks like it spit-up baby clothes and there aren't a lot of places to sit with all my various piles.

Much love and many blessings,
Cassie

I heard somewhere that you can take the height measurement of a child at two years old and double it to estimate how tall they'll be. Lucy is half my height at one! Go, Lucy! I'm hoping for taller kids, too. That's why I married "up." ;) I love your love for consignment sales. It sounds like something I could get into someday.

Yay for tall babies! Mine is going for his well baby in a couple weeks, he was 30" at his 9 months but only about 21 lbs...he's already about half my height I'm scared for in a couple years!!
