I'm such a slacker

Life happens in fast forward it seems and I just try to make sure that I keep our house running and spend time with my loves in the process. I'm sorry I'm such a blogging slacker. I really do care about sharing all the ins and outs but have a hard time finding the much needed me time in the midst of it all. My semester is winding down and thankfully it was a successful one. I changed my major and actually figured out that I'll be done an entire year earlier because of it! Can we say HOORAY?!?! I know I sure did. But in changing my major, I also know that if I intend to use it for anything other than teaching my own children, I'll need to get a masters degree too. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Lucy is super, btw. She is a wild woman, but in the best way imaginable. She is super inquisitive and gives the best impression of a sponge! :D She is very smart and seems to love life, so I think we're doing something right. And for the 100th time, she makes me ready for bambino deuce, tres, and cuatro... but I'm also a little bit crazy.

Next week, I promise to try to post new recipes and a new menu. And I really, truly promise to be better about posting at all.

Much love and many blessings,
Cass

New Mommy Group in Chattanooga

Good rainy day to you all! I just wanted to let everyone know that our mommy group is in full swing. We have our website www.bumpsbabiesandtoddlers.com , I got the business cards yesterday, and our first playdate is tomorrow! This is exciting and fun. I wish that I had started this sooner because with holidays comes craziness in schedules and that means our meetings and ladies' nights will be a little hit or miss for the next two months. Oh well!

In other exciting news, Gary and I began Financial Peace University and love it! We aren't in as bad of a situation with debt and spending habits as many others, but we still needed direction and want to be 100% debt free. The best part is that this program will work for anyone, single or married, 5k debt to 200k... it's incredible.

I would fill you in on all the other exciting and fun things I'm doing (ha!) but I've got a research paper to write and I haven't had the pleasure of writing a paper in about 8 years, so I'm being pretty obsessive. Again, oh well! :)
