the kids

I have the two best kids ever! My kittens, Delilah and Wisp. Hope you enjoy their precious pictures and as much as I enjoy their sweet, cuddliness. :D
Wisp, when he was about 2 months old. He's a lot bigger now but still just as sweet. He's a purr monster!

Delilah, she's so beautiful and calm. She never plays, just looks at you "what could you possibly want with me?"

raindrops are falling on my head

Good day ladies and gentlemen. It is a good day but also a sleepy day. I can't ever seem to control the yawning on rainy days such as these but I enjoy them from time to time. :) It amazes me that we are quickly approaching the end of August. This year I was really caught by surprise, moreso than ever before. I guess I've get caught up in the daily grind and miss a lot. The good news, possibly why this time of year is my favorite, is that my birthday is this week, and then on Saturday college football season starts!!!! I love football. I love autumn weather and football more than the average person. I can't explain it but let me convey that I am excited. :D

Thanks to our new subscription to the Times Free Press, I got a College Football '08 guide book with my paper yesterday. It has all the schedules and lots of articles to catch me up since I've been a complete slacker and have very little idea what's up with which teams. haha
My hubby is even a little excited this year.... maybe he sees how much fun football season is for me, who knows?!

I'll write more again soon but I promise not to make this a play-by-play blog about college football. I love it but I'm not into forcing anyone to read about it. :D

Much love and many blessings,

I had completely forgotten about this site. I started it nearly a year ago (which is obvious by the old content below, lol). I'm sure no one missed something they never knew was there but hopefully I will feel inclined to post here again, now that I've rediscovered it. :D

Depending upon who you ask, life has changed only slightly since last year. The biggest change of course was getting married in April and sharing my life with my wonderful husband Gary. Otherwise, nothing else has changed. I still work for the same two doctors, oral surgeons in Hixson, and spend a great deal of my life there. I have two awesome kittens, Delilah and Wisp, which bring me the joys of motherhood without the REAL responsibility yet (haha). I love them oh so much!!!

A great adventure and challenge has presented itself to me. In September, I'll begin leading a small group in our home. I'm not certain about many of the details for now, but if you want to know more, just e-mail me. My church is having a group leaders' training day/meeting soon and I'll know a lot more after that. I am really excited to lead a small group. I've done it only briefly before (3 months-ish) and really miss the relationships that are built there.

I guess there's not much else to include for today, just wanted to say a little something and get back into the swing of things. :D

Much love and many blessings,
